Register in a few easy steps

1. Register

a. Access UpToDate through the Health Science Library or within the campus network.

b. Click on Log in/Register on the UpToDate log in page.

If registering from a desktop or laptop:

c. Either log in with an existing account as a returning user or register as a new user

If registering from a desktop or laptop:

2. Download the app

You are now registered and will receive a confirmation email about downloading the free UpToDate Mobile App.

3. Login and go!

The first time you access the UpToDate Anywhere app, you will login with your UpToDate username and password. You now have access to UpToDate from any web browser and on up to two mobile devices.

4. 90-Day Re-verification Required

Options for re-verification

There are multiple ways you can re-verify your access to UpToDate:

  • From on campus via the library's website: Access UpToDate through the Health Sciences Library or within the campus network (for example, from the UCDenver wireless network) at least once every 90 days. This will automatically re-verify your affiliation and you will not receive any re-verification messaging. Go to UpToDate.com and click the log-in link on the top right and then enter your user name and password (do this when connected to the hospital or campus network).
  • From on campus via the mobile app: Use the UpToDate Mobile App from the campus network (for example, from the UCDenver wireless network)
  • From off campus: Go to UpToDate via the library's website, or, log in with the off-campus link. Log in through EZproxy with your library credentials, then log in at UpToDate with your UpToDate user name and password.
  • Via EPIC: Access UpToDate via an embedded link within your EHR system (EPIC)

Reminder to reverify

You must verify your affiliation every 90 days with University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and/or UCH to maintain mobile and remote access. If you have not re-verified by day 85, you will receive an alert. You will receive a second alert at day 90. If you fail to re-verify by day 90, you will lose mobile and remote access. To regain access, please complete the re-verification process outlined above.
